Lucifer Yellow VS dilithium salt has excitation peaks at 428/536 nm. Lucifer Yellow VS dilithium salt can be used for microinjection because it has higher solubility than potassium and ammonium salt forms of lucifer yellow CH. Lucifer Yellow VS dilithium salt contains a free hydrazido group that reacts with aliphatic aldehydes at room temperature.
