生化机理 | Heparin sodium salt is the salt form of heparinic acid and is a polymer classified as a mucopolysaccharide or a glycosoaminoglycan. It is an anticoagulant that produces its major anticoagulant effect by activating antithrombin. Heparin binds to antithrombin III, a naturally occurring plasma protease inhibitor and accelerates significantly the rate at which antithrombin III (AT-III) inhibits coagulation proteases (factor Xa and thrombin). Additionally, it also facilitates the stabilization and regulation of tryptase as an enzymatically active tetramer. |
Application
Heparin sodium salt from porcine intestinal mucosa has been used as a M199 medium supplement used for maintaining human umbilical vein endothelial cells.

Application
Alginic acid, alginate, is an anionic polysaccharide distributed widely in the cell walls of brown algae. Alginate is biocompatible and gels in the presence of divalent cations such as calcium making it useful for cell encapsulation and immobilization. Immobilized cells have use in bioproduction and bioremediation processes.

THA-Se is supplied a red solid which is soluble in water. Tetramethyl-rhodamine hyaluronic acid (THA-Se) has similar applications to those described for fluorescein hyaluronic acid (see FHA-Se) but has certain advantages. As mentioned earlier, the fluorescence of tetramethyl-rhodamine is less dependent on pH than FITClabels. Also, the longer emission wavelength avoids interference from background images in experimental environments. Invasive growth into brain tissue employing TR-HA and 2-photon imaging has been described. Hyaluronic acid (HA) can be obtained from various sources, for example rooster combs or Streptococcus equi. We can supply derivatives of either of these qualities labelled with or with tetramethylrhodamine (T-Ha). All batches are checked for molecular weight, degree of substitution, loss on drying and free TRITC. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide composed of alternating β(1-3) glucuronide and β(1-4) glucosaminide units derived from Streptococcus equi. The hyaluronic acid is labelled with amino-tetramethylrhodamine. The degree of substitution lies between 0.001 and 0.008. The labelling procedures do not lead to depolymerisation of the HA.

T-Ha has an excitation maximum at 552 nm and an emission maximum at 576 nm.

T-Ha have been used to e.g. investigate invasive growth into brain tissue.
